Solis There are those who do not wish us all well For We bear their taunts, their slurs, and their yells There are those who avoid us like disease Those that view us with just so little ease There are those who see us as monsters foul They look at us with disgust and with scowls They donโt see us as people with good hearts They see us as people whoโre worlds apart For we are different, that much is true We live lives by what our own actions grew But we are still people, thatโs still a fact Weโre sorry that this is how you react For Weโre ill, and thereโs nothing We can do And We all just want to be happy tooโฆ This is a poem about our petty lives For we are the ill who just want to thrive This is a verse about Our woes and pain For We hope, with this, your trust We will gain We are the outcasts, those who canโt fit in For illness, to them, is our biggest sin We are the ones who brandish
